Before adding any credentials, make sure that you are logged in, and you have the admin rights for the Facebook pages that you are going to connect with Localistico. After this, see our video or read the article on how to connect Facebook with Localistico:
How to add the credentials
1. First, go to the settings and select Facebook.
2. Click on the orange button and then click on connect with Facebook.
3. Confirm that you are logged in with the correct user and continue. Facebook selects automatically all the necessary permissions and pages, you don't normally need to edit them.
If you need to check whether you have granted Localistico the correct permissions, follow these steps:
Step 1: Navigate to Business Integrations
- Log into the Facebook account that initiated the connection.
- Click the profile picture in the top right corner --> select Settings & privacy --> click Settings.
- In the left-hand menu, scroll down to Your activity and click Business integrations (or navigate directly to facebook.com/settings/apps).
Step 2: Inspect & Edit App Permissions
- Find Localistico under the Active tab.
- Click View and edit.
- A detailed list will display showing every permission granted.
4. Select the page from the dropdown list and save.
If you have to add multiple credentials, please repeat the process as many times as necessary.
