What does Localistico mean by Profile?
Profile is an online representation of your physical location on the platforms.
When venue represents your physical locations in Localistico, a profile is an online representation of your physical location on the local marketing platforms such as Google, Facebook, Yelp, Bing, Apple Maps etc.
The ideal situation is to have one profile created per platform for each venue in Localistico. For example, in the example below the venue has one profile on Google and another one on Facebook since the business has these two platforms activated in Localistico. If the business decides to start managing their online presence on Yelp, Localistico will discover an existing Yelp profile or create a new one:
Sometimes you might see that there are two or three profiles that represent the same physical locations. Those profiles are called duplicates, and it is normal that they exist. You can read more about the duplicated profiles and how to handle them from here.
